incapable (january 11, 2011)

for the second time this week

i feel incapable of standing

how did it end up like this?

i don’t recall exactly where it all went wrong

or what i did to deserve it

God, i’m acting like if i just pray

hard enough You’ll answer me

as if i just have to wonder with loud enough thoughts

and suddenly it’ll all become clear to me

yet another tear falls off my cheek

and i am so tired tonight

how did it end up like this?
